Diy Shutter Styles. Self Install Shutters Made Easy

Diy Shutter Styles Available

There are many styles of wooden shutters available but we have selected the most popular styles to offer you for DIY installation. The three styles chosen for diy self install shutters represent 90% of all shutter sales in the UK today.

If you require something different such as an arch, triangle or circle for example we are prepared to help but you must be very experienced at diy or a skilled trades person. Otherwise if you want an unusual shape please visit Shutter Master

The styles available to purchase here for DIY are Full Height. Full Height with Divider and Cafe Style.

We will be adding more styles in the future such as Tier on Tier and Solid panels so please check back for future updates.

DIY Full Height Shutters
Self install full height shutters are the most popular style. Offering classic simple clean lines for that designer look. This style as with all the others is available in all our products including Craftwood, Pearlwood, Basswood and Permawood.

DIY Full Height Shutters With Divider
Full height self install shutters with divider rail are the preferred option for tall windows, doors or room dividers where the height exceeds 1800mm. This style can also be used on smaller windows and is great for providing privacy when the bottom section is closed but allowing light with the top section open.

DIY Cafe Style Shutters
Cafe style shutters are extremely popular in smaller cottage style homes and also Victorian bay windows. As you can see from the picture on the right the cafe style shutters only cover part of the lower part of the window. This style has privacy over the bottom half of the window and lots of light coming in from the top.
