Once you’ve made the great decision to start shopping around for plantation shutters for your home, you’ll quickly realize there are still a few more decisions to make. One of the most important decisions is choosing a colour or pattern for your new shutters. We have a wide selection of styles, and we know you’ll find something that will look amazing in your home!

Choosing Between Our Plantation Shutter Colours

We offer a number of different colours for our painted shutters, along with a variety of stained shutter designs - and even faux wood shutters.

Our painted shutters come in a variety of colours, from the whitest whites to the darkest greys.

Choosing from this spectrum will depend entirely on what type of look you’re going for. In some homes, a nice bright shutter colour works best, whereas in other homes a darker style could be just what your room needs. If you’re unsure where to start, don’t be shy to contact us for advice!

If you have darker décor in your room, you might opt for a lighter style of shutters if you would like them to stand out and be a contrasting focal point in your room. Otherwise, you may prefer darker window shutters for the sake of matching the existing ambiance of your room.

In addition to the aforementioned colours of painted shutters, we also offer stains and limewashes.

Our stains include: Beach White, Old White, Natural, Honey, Rustic Grey, Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, Antique Brown, Wenge, Walnut, and Matte Black.

Our limewash options are as follows: White Grained, Fern, Branch, and Bark.

And finally, here are our faux wood shutters, which are made in the UK using PVC. These shutters are perfect for greenhouses, kitchens, and anywhere they could be exposed to higher levels of moisture in the home.

Our faux wood shutters are available in: Snow White and Silk White.

Shutter Hardware

Our shutter hinges come in the following colours: Vivid White, Natural White, Off White, Antique Brass, Black, Brass, Rub Bronze, and Stainless Steel.

Some homeowners prefer a hardware colour that matches their shutters as closely as possible, to help the hardware blend in. Others prefer a look where the hardware stands out more, especially if it matches other trim items in the room.
